Nathan J. Gordon, Director, is the founder of the Academy for Scientific Investigative Training, with 32 years of investigative, administrative and polygraph experience. He is a full member of the American Polygraph Association, American Society for Industrial Security, former President of the Pennsylvania Polygraph Examiners Association, and author of many articles in the fields of Polygraph, Security and Defensive Tactics for law enforcement. Mr. Gordon has trained polygraph examiners from around the world, and has lectured on interviewing and interrogation techniques for many government and law enforcement agencies across the United States and abroad. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Vidocq Society. His innovations in the field of Forensic Psychophysiology are noted in the text: Forensic Psychophysiology, The Use Of The Polygraph, by Dr. James Allan Matte. Mr. Gordon recently co-authored, “Effective Interview and Interrogation Techniques,” published by Academic Press.

William L. Fleisher, Assistant Director, is a former Assistant Special Agent in Charge, U.S. Customs Service, with 33 years of investigative and administrative experience gained as a Philadelphia Police Corporal; Special Agent, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Supervisory Special Agent, U.S. Customs Service, and Director of Keystone Intelligence Network, a private investigation firm. Mr. Fleisher has lectured on Behavioral Symptom Analysis for many law enforcement and intelligence agencies across the United States and the Far East. He wrote the U.S. Customs Service's training manual, "Behavioral Symptom Analysis." In addition, Mr. Fleisher is a Certified Fraud Examiner and a full member of the American Polygraph Association, the Pennsylvania Polygraph Examiners Association, American Society for Industrial Security, Intelnet, Diplomate American College of Forensic Examiners, and the Society of Former Special Agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Mr. Fleisher is cofounder and first Commissioner of the Vidocq Society, an international organization of forensic experts.

Essam Ali-Gamal El-din, Director of the Academy's representative office located in Cairo, Egypt, is responsible for training in Africa, the Middle East and Cyprus. Essam retired as a General from the Egyptian Defense Ministry, where he was the Chief of Interrogation Management Center. Mr. El-din is certified as a Primary Polygraph Instructor by the American Polygraph Association. He has attended numerous advanced seminars in Forensic Psychophysiology, and has successfully lectured for the Academy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Republic of South Africa, Singapore, and the United States. Essam is a member of the American Polygraph Association, the American Association of Police Polygraphists, and the Vidocq Society, an organization committed to solving "cold case" homicides.
